The Taco Love 2026 Winners Have Been Announced!

Taco Love 2026 has officially wrapped up, and we want to start by saying THANK YOU.

Thank you to the five participating restaurants that put their creativity, passion, and talent on full display throughout the event. Every taco brought something unique to the table, and once again, Taco Love proved why it continues to be one of our favourite community food events.

We also want to thank the community for getting out and supporting local restaurants, trying the featured tacos, voting, sharing posts, and helping make this year’s event another success.

A special thank you goes out to our judges who joined us for judging day and helped crown this year’s winners: Stephanie Barbeau, Darryn McPhail, David Andre, Gabriel Burelle, Anthony Conti & Kelsey Easton.

Now for the winners…

🏆 People’s Choice Award

With 36.82% of the vote, congratulations to Sol De Acapulco for winning the 2026 People’s Choice Award!

It was an incredibly close race this year, with Viva Cancun finishing second with 24.38% of the vote, narrowly beating Billy K’s by just one vote.

🏆 Judge’s Award

With a total score of 88, Sol De Acapulco also takes home the Judge’s Award for Taco Love 2026.

A very close second place went to Jet Set Pub with a score of 81.5.

🌮 Most Creative Taco

Congratulations to Jet Set Pub for earning this year’s Most Creative Taco recognition!

A special thank you to Cornwall Tourism and SDG Tourism for supporting Taco Love and helping celebrate the incredible local food scene in our community.
